I opened my practice in 2012 to provide for the estate planning and long-term care needs of my clients. In order to provide superior legal documents, I take the time to get to know my clients and their situation. With that knowledge, I am able to create a customized plan to best meet their needs.
I am a Truman alumni and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in the top 15% of my law school class. I was a candidate for the Dean’s list for superior academic achievement every semester of law school and graduated with a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution. I am a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I place my time and energy into studying Estate Planning issues, so that I am able to meet both the simple and complex needs of my clients.
Outside of my professional pursuits, I am a blessed wife and a lucky mother of two little boys. I met my husband, Aaron Rooks, during college, and we both loved the local community so much that we decided to make it our forever home. My two little boys, Ryan and Dylan, are amazing little guys that make our family complete. Our family attends church at Hazel Creek Free Will Baptist church where I am the Sunday School Secretary and activity director. Our family participates in a variety of activities with our church ranging from vacation bible school to organizing activities to help better our local community. My husband is on the board at the church and he plays drums.
I also believe it is important to give back to our community. I am the 2016 President for the Chamber of Commerce, 2016 President for the Adair County Bar Association, and a proud supporter of our local organizations such as Lifeline and Genesis House.
